Join our JCB 3 Restoration Project

This year we are 20!

And as part of our anniversary celebrations, we are restoring an original JCB 3 Backhoe Loader back to its former glory.

The Backhoe Loader is the most iconic JCB machine, introduced to the market back in the 1950’s. It began life as a combination of a Fordson tractor, with hydraulic excavator at the rear, and a Major Loader at the front.

This project will provide an invaluable engineering experience for our team. Later in the year, we will be auctioning the restored JCB 3 – with all proceeds going to charity.

We have already received support and expertise from a number of our fabulous suppliers. But, we still need more help to turn our dream into a reality.

Here’s how the JCB 3 looks currently…

A lot of work to do, right?! But we are getting stuck in and are excited about seeing the finished machine.
