The completion of our Farnham depot in Surrey was celebrated last Friday with an opening ceremony attended by a number of key guests and officially opened by JCB Group Chief Executive Graeme Macdonald.

The £1.5 million expansion of our headquarters has created extended open-plan offices, warehousing for parts and an additional acre of yard storage for customer machines making us one of the largest JCB machinery dealers in the world.

Upon opening the new premises, Graeme Macdonald commented “JCB has ambitious global growth plans and it’s important that our dealers around the world invest to support those ambitions. Greenshields JCB’s investment is exactly what is needed to ensure we win more business in the competitive UK market.”

Our own Greenshields JCB Managing Director George Greenshields added: “I am proud to have been associated with JCB for over 35 years both as an employee and as a JCB dealer. This business has succeeded by establishing excellent relationships with international, national, regional and owner operators, providing them with top-level service and support at all times.

“We are confident as a business, having doubled our turnover in the last 5 years. With this investment, we plan to do the same again in the next 5 years.”

Built to exacting JCB corporate dealer standards, the new complex now stands on a 2.8 acre site.
